Birth of the Titans

In the beginning, there was nothing, and then, in one immense and expansive moment of creation, Cosmic Energy came into existence. Lacking form or purpose, it spread at an infinite rate. Within an eon, the first Titans emerged, primal beings driven by the fundamental principles of the universe—forces of creation finally granted form and function. As the universe continued its expansion, these Titans began to clash, their realms and powers overlapping, igniting conflicts as their existences intertwined. These conflicts gave rise to additional Titans that embodied a wider range of concepts, shaping the planets and stars, the forces of life and death, and the dualities of good and evil. Amid these immense conflicts, mortals began to emerge, filling the smaller gaps of the universe with life. When the first Titans finally became aware of the vast numbers of mortals inhabiting universe, it discovered that the fear and reverence shown by these beings altered their interaction with the vast cosmic energies that permeated existence.

The negativity of the mortal realm corrupted certain Titans, transforming them into beings of malice who fed upon and indulged the base instincts of mortals. Conversely, the positivity of the realm inspired other Titans to become beings of benevolence, flourishing through the reverence and devotion offered by mortals. As mortal consciousness continued to divide the Titans between positive and negative influences, two distinct realms emerged. The Titans who thrived on the darker aspects of life became known as the Infernals, beings who would grant mortals power in exchange for a price. Those Titans who basked in the positivity and devotion of mortals became known as Celestials; they rewarded the discipline and faith of mortals with their favor and power.

Over the course of countless eons, the Celestials and Infernals lost all memory of their shared origin, leaving only a handful of true Titans to endure. These remaining Titans took on the solemn duty of preserving the essential functions in a state of impartiality. Smert, the Titan of Death, and Tx-wel, the Titan of Life, joined forces to create the cycle of Samsara, ensuring mortal souls would not linger endlessly in the realm of the living. Kosmos, the Titan of Balance, and Rozbrat, the Titan of Discord, maintained the delicate equilibrium between the realms of Aeturn. Gaia, the Titan of Nature, became the progenitor of every World Tree, while Taqadum, the Titan of Progress, embodied the relentless drive of all life to strive for survival. Draba, the Titan of Mysticism, crafted the Weave to ensure that mortal beings could endure the immense abundance of Cosmic Energy without succumbing to its overwhelming force. Lastly, Ogun, the Titan of Peace and War, upholds the principles of Tranquility and Turmoil among all beings within Aeturn, ensuring a delicate balance between harmony and conflict across the realm.
