(The chapter opens with the battle at the docks where Andreia is fighting Tatsuma on a warship)
(Tatsuma holds out his hand and fires a bunch of explosions out as his eyes light up yellow. Andreia's eyes light up blue as she dodges the explosions and jumps up, twirls her staff around and gathers air around it before slamming down on the deck sending a slice of air towards Tatsuma who puts out his hand behind him and explosions come out propelling him to the side dodging the air slash and sparks light up beneath his feet and he explodes forward at Andreia and spins with an explosion and lands a massive kick on Andreia who gets sent back some but she catches herself with a blast of air. )
Tatsuma: Now that you know who I am, tell me who you are.
Andreia: alright. my names Andreia, ( as her eyes glow and her staff segments into 3 sections held together by chains) the 6th ranked Royal knight under Apcee.
Tatsuma: 6th ranked...he ha, HE HA HA HA HAH, barely 2 day as a royal knight knight and Im already facing someone as strong as you. man that just gets me even more fired up! (his eyes start glowing even brighter and small sparks start forming around his eyes as they go to clash it cuts over to Reinier who is shooting energy blast at rune who is blocking and dodging his way around the battle field)
Reinier: (flies at super speed and lands creating a crater in the ground as Rune jumps back, Reinier dashes at him and throws a punch which rune tries to block with his energy shield but gets sent flying through a building. Rune attempts to get up and he has cuts and scrapes on his back and arm, Reinier flies through the building destroying it and speeding directly towards rune and he grabs him and flies him through several more buildings until rune's eyes glow and all his tattoos start glowing as he punches Reinier in the face with a massive shock wave sending him back in the air a bit)
Rune: (stands up and his eyes glow as a tattoo on his chest glows and the cuts and scrapes start healing quickly and stop bleeding)
Reinier: Rune, I don't want to hurt you any more then I have, please call off your men, and those ships.
Rune: (he puts his hands together and the tattoo on his chest of the world tree Yggdrasil starts glowing as energy swirls around him and he puts his hands on the ground )
Reinier: even using your terrain huh? Fine. (it cuts over to Alejandro and Karine fighting and Karine gets punched in the face and blood splatters from his nose as he stumbles back)
Alejandro: I can see you have great potential with your gift. If you would ever want to refine your skills, my dojo is always open.
Karine: (wipes his nose) I appreciate the offer, but I'm good. (thinking) I'm never gonna beat him in hand to hand. (punches the ground and rocks start flying up and they almost stop mid air and he starts punching them towards Alejandro with energy trailing behind them)
Alejandro: (runs and deflects all the rocks and runs up and his fist starts glowing with pink fire like energy and he lands a massive punch into Karine's stomach that cracks his armor and sends him to the ground knocked out.) you fought honorably.
Legionary: Karine's down, focus all fire on that immortal knight! ( the tanks turn and start firing on Alejandro who starts dodging and flips back and stands in front of another tank)
Legionary: fire! (it fires at him but he jumps out of the way and the shell hits another tank and it explodes)
Legionary: what was that!?
Legionary 2: he's fast alright.
(it cuts over to Demion inside his terrain holding his hands on the ground. it cuts over to the royal knights who were fighting. )
(legionary with white hair and ice powers): (thinking) this must be Demion's terrain, to form a terrain this big while encompassing so many people is truly impressive. (he punches a legionary)
(spartan legionary): (thinking) this energy, it's unlike anything I've felt before. its almost suffocating the orku in it. (cuts down a legionary) I can barely use my powers. Its a good thing he's on our side.
(it cuts over to a man with a mask on covered by a cloak standing far away from the battle watching with a telescope)
Man: Pathetic, even with those super weapons they cant take down even the weakest immortal.
other man: at least they did their job. they cant use terrain again.
Man: You know your target?
(a man stands behind them with a black and red cloak on but you cant see his face): Demion.
(cut to the battle field at the docks on the ships with massive cannons, Sora flies down along the water directly behind the ship as her eyes light up as she stands up and jumps off onto the ship and starts running through and taking out lower class legionaries. she grabs one of their swords and makes her way to the front deck and flips over the guards around the cannon as the legionaries are loading it and stabs the sword through the cannon and keeps running and jumps off where Dreki catches her and keeps flying and the cannon explodes behind them. )
Sora: 2 down. ( it cuts over to Andreia and Tatsuma fighting. Andreia runs around as Tatsuma fires off explosions at her that put holes in the deck. Andreia gets in close and swings her staff at him and he steps on it and throws an explosion behind him as he kicks her back and she catches herself and twirls her staff around and sends several slashes of air at him, but he sends out explosions propelling him out of the way. he flies over and attempts to punch her but shes backstepping as he throws explosions.)
Andreia: is that the best you got?
Tatsuma: Not even close! (his eyes Light up and power swirls around him as he sends out a massive explosion. she brakes the floor and drops down and the explosion reaches the cannon and blows it up sending legionaries and pieces of the deck flying.)
Tatsuma: What! I didnt...AGGHHH how did I let her...( her staff flies out of the deck below him and hits him in the face sending him up and she jumps up and grabs it as it spins and slams it down into Tatsuma and he crashes into the ground as the deck around him cracks)
Andreia: You've still got a lot to learn kid.
Tatsuma: ughh, (passes out) ( it cuts over to several masked men with cloaks standing outside the village watching the battle at the docks. (the one lowers the telescope.)
Man: give the signal.
another man: (lights up a black flare and sends it into the air. as it cuts to a legionary hiding in an alley way and a legionary on deck of one of the ships, they both see the flare and take out a black blade)
Legionaries: For Raxis ( they cut their hands with the black blades and the black energy rushes into the cut. they drops the blades and fall to the ground and their eyes turn black)
CHAPTER 81 BALANCE SHIFT
(the chapter opens with Alejandro taking out the last cannon and looking over the battle field that is completely covered by darkness, some legionaries running out of the dark and running to the border.)
Alejandro: (sees a massive surge of black energy far from the battle field) that must be more Egranian forces, why did they not attack before? (starts running towards the battle field) I'm not sensing very much energy coming from that way? what could they be hiding? (it cuts inside Demion's terrain and Egran's legionaries are getting rounded up and the battle is coming to a close.
(spartan legionary): (walks over to Demion) thank you 2nd, without your terrain, we would have had many more injured or worse.
Demion: " Hough" (his eyes stop glowing and the darkness starts fading and he falls to one knee and the spartan legionary helps him) I used up a lot of energy keeping the terrain active, I don't know how much longer I could have lasted.
(the ice legionary): we'll thanks to you blinding our foes we were able to defeat them quickly. your control of your gift is incredible. (suddenly something lands near the royal knights sending debris flying as it lands)
(they all look over)
(ice legionary) what was...(A man in a black cloak and armor appears next to him and grabs his face and slams him into the ground)
(Spartan Legionary) Lucian! (puts his shield up as the figure blitzes him. He tries to block his strike with his shield but the cloaked man melts right through it and burns the royal knight as he punches him sending him flying back onto the ground.)
Demion: what the...!!(the man appears over him and goes to slam down on him, but Alejandro flies in and kicks the kicks the man in the face and sends hi back a bit)
Alejandro: you alright?
Demion: yeah.
Alejandro: Help the others. I'll handle this guy.
Demion: got it.
Alejandro: (looks over at the figure and he sees the hood has dropped from the cloak and he sees magnus and his armor has turned completely black)
Alejandro: Magnus?
demonized magnus: (Roars and black and red energy burst from him many of the legionaries around start blacking out and start falling down)
Alejandro: (thinking) this energy...its almost as much as much as an immortal. but he was only ranked 19th, where did all this come from?
(magnus blitzes Alejandro but he barely dodges and flies back with his eyes glowing brightly)
Magnus: ( jumps at him with black fire emanating off his armor and attacks Alejandro but dodges and tries to counter attack but his attacks aren't affecting him. he slams down on the ground and black fire explodes from the ground all around him as Alejandro jumps back)
Alejandro: everybody get out of here! (he and demion start running and grabbing people and trying to get them out of the terrain. but magnus appears next to him) (thinking) crap I cant dodge it in time while protecting them. (magnus goes to punch him but he stops short)
Demion: (his eyes glowing black and black chains come out from the fire in the ground) GO! (he coughs up blood)
Alejandro: (gets several legionaries out of his terrain and drops them off with others.) Get everyone as far as you can. (he starts running back)
Legionaries: yes sir!
(cut back to demion holding magnus back with the black chains)
Magnus: You....need you...
Demion: (clearly in pain) Magnus, what happened to you?
Magnus: (brakes the chains and dashes towards demion and grabs him. )
Alejandro: No! (he tries to enter corrupted magnus' terrain but a wall of flames burst out from the ground. Alejandro stops. when the fire dies down he looks up and magnus and Demion are gone) Demion! (his eyes light up and he tries to find their energy but he cant) (thinking) what? their energy is completely gone. How can that much energy disappear?
CHAPTER 82 BLACK FIRE
(The chapter opens with Reinier and rune. Rune holding his hands on the ground and Markings spread out from around him and surrounding the area. Reinier flies towards Rune whose hands are still on the ground and goes to punch him but the markings around him on the ground light up and a barrier forms as Reinier hits it and a massive shockwave goes out. Rune's eyes glow and a rune behind Reinier lights up and a giant energy snake comes out of the ground and bites him and takes him though a building. before Reiniers eyes glow and he puts his foot down and dispels it. energy lights up under him and fire explodes around him. he flies out of the fire as fast as he can and flies towards Rune, who claps his hands and a rune in front of him glows and lightning strikes down on Reinier. )
Reinier: AGHHHH!
Rune: (puts his hands together and a spear of energy comes from a rune he grabs it and throws it at Reinier who is still being electrocuted. )
Reinier: (thinking) am I going to loose? Are you? or are you going to do something? (Reiniers eyes blaze bright green and a massive surge of power explodes out of him and engulfs the area, before it cuts over to the legionaries at the docks who are wrapping up the fight. and it cuts over to Andreia who is detaining people on the ship when her ship sails next to it and Kristoff flies over)
Andreia: (looking at what's left of the cannon) that had some serious firepower behind it.
Kristoff: luckily you and Captain sora were able to take them down before many more got injured...or worse.
Andreia: yeah, we should count ourselves lucky we had her. (sora comes flying in on dreki. they land on the ship)
Sora: that should be the final ship taken care of, and it looks like the battle on land is wrapping up as well.
Andreia: Good, once we detain all the legionaries here, we need to move to the capital as soon as we can. Im sure that Captain Keira and Alejandro alongside the other Legion captains will be on their way there as well. (their conversation is interrupted as a giant surge of green energy blast above the buildings away from the fighting.)
Sora: that must be Reinier. he might need some help I'll...( a dark figure flies down between the legionaries and cracks the deck as they all jump back. the dark figure looks up and black wings stretch out as its black eyes glow with a blue fire)
Kristoff: what is that thing? is that even human?
Andreia: I'm not sensing any Orku from it it.
(the demon roars and flies at Kristoff who dodges out of the way as it crashes through the railing and starts flying away.)
Sora: whatever that thing is it will not escape! (she runs and jumps off the ship and dreki jumps up and catches her as they fly towards the demon. The demon flies towards the docks where other legionaries are taking care of prisoners and wounded allies. )
Sora: (thinking) this thing is fast. (the demon flies in and attacks a legionary and bites them sending black energy into their veins and steeling their energy as its claws, wings and spikes grow bigger. Dreki shoots a blast of energy at the demon who tanks it and looks back at her as the area she hit regenerates)
Sora: (jumps off of dreki and her eyes glow as she lands on the demon and punches it in the face sending a wave of energy out. and follows up with several hits each cracking its bones and she sends it to the ground)
Legionary: captain what's going on? what is that?
Sora: I don't know, but whatever it is (looks at the drained legionary ) its dangerous...(the demon shoots out dark energy and sora leaps back as it stands up its bones cracking into place. ) what are you? (it roars) Everyone get back! (the demon charges at sora. it cuts over to Reinier standing in a crater with nothing around but a burned and unconscious rune)
Reinier: (looking down at him) Sorry for letting you think you had a chance to defeat me. (he grabs the cuffs on his belt and goes to put them on rune when he gets sent flying into a building) agh, what hit me? (he flies out and sees a demon with massive spiked horns and massive arms standing on all fours) what in the 6 kingdoms is that? (the demon jumps at an insane speed at Reinier who tries blasting it with energy but it doesn't affect it and it grabs him and takes him o the ground. )
Reinier: (punches it off of him and it flies through a wall.) (thinking) I haven't released this much energy in a long time, if I keep fighting like this I might loose control. (the demon come charging back at him and Reinier grabs its horns as it crashes him through several buildings before they crash back into the rest of the legionaries as Reinier picks it up and slams it behind him with a massive shockwave. )
Sora: (sees Reinier as she dodge the attacks of the demon. )
Both: (thinking) there's another one!?
(they both fight each of them but their energy isn't doing anything)
Reinier: what's up with these things!?
Sora: Orku isn't doing anything against them!?
(Reinier eyes blaze red and he punches the demon and it punches back and they both slide back)
Reinier: (staggers as his energy lights up and swirls around him)
Sora: (sees Reinier staggering and the demon coming at him) Dreki! (dreki flies and grabs the demon and pins it to the floor. )
Reinier: (thinking) you have to seal our power soon.
Sora: If these things aren't affected by orku we need to kill them another way!
Reinier: Got it! (Dreki picks it up and throws it and Reinier grabs it and starts flying with it past the dock and takes it deep into the water as it thrashes around and it cuts back to sora as she dodges a demons attack and grabs its arms and swings around and throws it towards dreki who grabs it and starts flying into the air super high and it shows a panel of Reinier going down under water and dreki going up in the air Reinier throws the demon into the depths and starts flying buck up and dreki throws the demon past the atmosphere. and starts flying back down)
Sora: There's no way even those things could survive that.
(it cuts to the men watching from far away. )
Man: Report back to Raxis, the legions are coming for the capital.
another man: yes sir.
CHAPTER 83 NOT OVER TILL ITS OVER
(the chapter opens with Tenebris and the gang standing in the castle facing the Kongur higher ups)
Machi: Alright, I'll take the one on the right you take the one on the left.
Tenebris: that still leaves the ones in front and behind.
Machi: right...then I'll...(Arthor throws a ball of energy at Valka who doges it and starts running in with the other kongur members following)
Tenebris: (his eyes light up and his spirits come out and attack the members.) Valka tries to stab arthor but Sam blocks her with her sword and tries to slice her but she flips back and throws some knives that Sam blocks as she runs at Valka and locks blades. (machi throws several punches at the assassin who dodges easily and goes to cut him but Ulfer jumps on him and lykoi shoots an arrow and it barely misses but it allows machi to land a clean hit on the assassin sending them back quite a bit. )
Machi: thanks kid.
Lykoi: (nods)
Ehud: we meet again! (slicing at tenebris who disappears and reappears behind him) I know your tricks already! (spins and kicks him but tenebris blocks it and tries to counter but he throws a knife and tenebris catches as throws it back at him but he side steps and grabs it and twirls the blade around and slashes at tenebris again who parries and punches him in the stomach sending him back a bit)
Tenebris: don't forget that I also know your tricks.
Ehud: (gets angry and his eyes start glowing red as he charges in again. The last assassin takes on two of tenebris spirits and tries to kicks them but it goes right through and the spirit grabs them and and and throws them over their shoulder but they land on their feet and throws some daggers that the one spirit dodges and it flies at machi who moves and the assassin on the other side catches it and tries to slice machi who dodges but gets kicked back and stumbles a bit as he grabs his side and blood starts staining his shirt. )
Machi: agh! ... (Lykoi takes over fighting the assassin. he looks at tenebris who nods back) here goes nothing. (his eyes light up and he punches a pillar on one side of the hall. Ehud tries to stab tenebris he grabs his arm and throws him into the hall with the other assassin and tenebris eyes light up as he brakes the pillar on the other side of the hall and debris falls down closing off the halls and tenebris spirits come back to their rings)
(Sam charges in and swipes at Valka but she side steps and goes to stab Sam but arthor appears and tries to stab her from behind but she ducks and kicks him into Sam as they go flying back where Tenebris and machi catch them and lykoi shoots an arrow at her but she catches it and throws it into the ground. they all stand against Valka, who stands ready and her eyes glow with dark red energy)
Valka: What a disgrace arthor. you had such potential but you just had to run away from us and join the people you hate most.
Arthor: (looks at Tenebris and Sam) no, your wrong...I might hate the legions for what they've done. But I've met real legionaries, who are trying their best to make the world a better place. and who are trying to stop you!
Valka: ...well then, I'm sure raxis will be disappointed to hear that. So I wont give him the opportunity to hear it. (she throws a dagger at the chandelier and it cuts the chain and falls down. machi catches it and throws it at her and she gets sent flying back)
Machi: did I get her!? (as he drops to a knee and blood starts falling on the ground)
Tenebris: Machi your bleeding.
Machi: Just a scratch capn (he tries to stand up and cant)
Sam: (goes to take his cloak off.)
Machi: whoa there little lady...
Sam: Oh come on, this is serious.
Machi: (lets her take his shirt off and they see the bandages are soaked with blood)
Sam: This looks bad. (her hand starts glowing and she puts her hand on his bandages)
Machi: I'm fine I'm telling ya. Agghh!
Sam: stay still I'm trying to close the wound up.
Tenebris: are you crazy, you should've said something.
Machi: I'll be fine, you guys go on ahead, I'll catch up with you later.
Sam: I'll stay here with him and continue first aid.
Tenebris: (looks at machi and arthor) (his eyes and a ring starts glowing as Alex stands with them) Protect these guys until we get back. (the lights on the wall start going out)
Tenebris: (turns around to see the light go out and behind him another goes out)
Lykoi: what is going on?
Tenebris: (his eyes light up and he looks around) I cant sense anything. (another light goes out)
(Valka starts laughing as the last light goes out, leaving them in the dark)
Tenebris: (lights up his hand with a blue flame) (a knife flies out of nowhere at arthor but tenebris grabs it.) its the dark energy. we wont be able to sense her orku. (Lykoi's ears twitch)
Lykoi: there! (she comes out of the darkness and tries to slash Sam but Alex blocks her and hits her back but she disappears)
Tenebris: (thinking) An after image? (aloud) Lykoi, I'm going to need your ears, tell me where she is.
Lykoi: yes! (he closes his eyes and listens) Left!
Tenebris: sends a burst of energy into Valka who is running but its another after image)
Valka: Even with that boys senses, you'll never catch me.
(Tenebris shoots another blast of energy that hits a wall)
Lykoi: Arthor!
Valka: (she slashes at arthor who barely avoids it, but gets cut on his cheek. she disappears into the darkness) They call me the Ghost of death. no one, not even legionaries are safe from my blade.
Tenebris: I hate to tell you we're no legionaries.
Valka: Then this will be easier than I thought!
Lykoi: up!
Tenebris: Looks up and Valka comes down with a blade and tries to stab tenebris who catches her blade with his bandaged hand and tries to kick her, but he hits an after image and she stabs him in the shoulder)
Arthor: tenebris!
Valka: Haha!
Tenebris: there you are. (he grabs her arm)
Valka: what!? (tenebris eyes light up and he punches her in the face with a massive burst of energy sending her flying into a wall and knocking her out. )
Arthor: Tenebris...
Tenebris: (pulls the sword out of his shoulder. (his eyes glow black and it starts regenerating)..I'm fine. turns out, not everything about a dark power that's slowly killing me is bad.
Machi: And you said I was the crazy one!
Tenebris: come on, we got to find karri.
CHAPTER 84 PATH FORWARD
(the chapter opens with Arthor, Tenebris and lykoi running through the castle)
Arthor: this way! (they run up a large staircase where legionaries try and stop them but Lykoi shoots an arrow into the gun of one causing it to explode and tenebris eyes glow as he jumps up the wall and kicks the guard in the face sending his helmet up and he kicks the helmet into the other guard and lands on the top of the staircase where arthor and lykoi meet him) (it cuts to the throne room where karri is standing beside Raxis who is sitting on the throne and Barron who is standing on the other side of the throne. )
( Leon walks in)
Legionary: My lord we must get you to safety, the intruders have infiltrated the castle and are on their way here.
Raxis: that will not be necessary, soldier, our forces should be more than enough to defeat their forces. return to your station.
Leon: but sir my duty is to protect...
Barron: (unsheathes his sword. )
Raxis: I have plenty enough protection, Return to your station.
Leon: (hesitantly) yes sir. (he walks out and the doors shut behind him)
Raxis: lets see what the white haired man is capable of.
(Karri senses Arthor close)
Karri: (thinking) their almost here, what should I do? should I run? I could probably outrun them with my new powers but I would have to activate them and get through the doors. they'll sense that I'm up to something and stop me before I get the doors open. I have to think of something. if the others get here, raxis will kill them. I cant let that happen. Come on karri think! I got it! (aloud) hey I got to use the bathroom can i...
Raxis: you think I'm stupid?
Karri: what? no, I got to go...
Raxis: no.
Karri: (thinking) it didn't work what am I going to do?
Raxis: (senses something) (thinking) they had to uses those blades did they? I guess those super weapons weren't enough.
( cut back to the gang running and they stop right outside the doors and Leon and many guards stand in the way)
Leon: Stop intruders, by the king of E...
Tenebris: I'm going to stop you right there, we know that the man you call Solomon isn't who he really says he is.
Leon: Like the intruders in the middle of an assassination attempt are able to speak.
Arthor: Listen that man who is sitting on the throne is actually the leader of there Kongur!
Leon: Such nonsense will not be tolerated! ready! (all the guards stand read with their swords and spears drawn)
Tenebris: its no use I guess. alright (the gangs eyes glow as tenebris disappears and reappears next to some guards and punches them into another, Arthor runs on and pulls out his dagger and shoots a energy blast which is shielded, the guard swipes at him but he slides between his legs and kicks his knee and hits him in the back of the head with the end of his sword. another guard tries to stab arthor who side steps and kicks the guards hands knocking the spear in the air, he blast the man point blank and he flies back into another guard, who catches him but arthor jumps up and kicks him. tenebris is fighting hand to hand several guards and takes many out, but a guard sneaks up and tries to slash tenebris in the back but the sword is knocked out of his hand by an arrow from lykoi. tenebris turns ad kicks the legionary back. lykoi aims and shoot several times at different guards and knocks the weapons out of their hands. one gets close and swings at lykoi who ducks and ulfer jumps on top of him. lykoi hits the guy with his bow and knocks another arrow and shoots it at Leon who swats it out of the air with his sword.)
Leon: Come on, we are the kings guards can we not defeat an injured man and some children! (his eyes light up and he dashes at arthor and slashes at him and arthor barely dodges with some of his hair getting cut off. Leon spins and elbows arthor sending him back a bit before he grabs his arm and throws him against the wall. Tenebris looks over and his eyes light up as he disappears and reappears next to Leon and grabs him and spins him around and throws him into the doors that fly open and he slides on the ground right in front of Raxis. they finish off the rest of the guards and throw one to the side as they walk in and see Raxis Barron and karri. )
